Birth – I woke up screaming, covered in blood and dangling by my ankles.
School – “Put the desk down – slowly.”
Work – My partner realised that, yet again, I was holding a detailed conversation with a former colleague I had completely failed to recognise.
Death – Thankfully, free-base jumping in the late 21st century is safer than skiing used to be back when we had snow.
